Squad Criteria

  • Train at a high level with a view to competing at Regional and National level.
  • Must be motivated an coachable and willing to get out of comfort zone!

Training Expectations

  • 10 x 100m freestyle @1.45
  • 10 x 100m IM @ 2.00

Equipment

  • 1 litre bottle of water or squash per hour.
  • Hat, goggles and spares.
  • Kickboard.
  • Fins.
  • Pull buoy.
  • Snorkel.
  • Recording board and pencil.
  • Finger paddles & small hand paddles.

Competitions

  • Club championship.
  • Level 1, 2 & 3 meets.

Anything Else?

  • Ages 10-13.
  • Must compete in 200/400m Individual Medley as part of development.
  • Unless there is a valid reason, swimmers must attend morning sessions (discuss with coach).

Training times (7.5hrs)

  • Monday: 6-7pm at SES Junior Pool
  • Tuesday: 5.55-6.55am at SES Memorial Pool
  • Wednesday: 8-9pm Stanground
  • Thursday: 5.55-6.55am at SES Memorial Pool
  • Thursday: 6-8pm at SES Junior Pool
  • Sunday: 12-1.30pm at Stanground
