Round up from Northampton Spring Meet

From the 14 swimmers who competed they achieved between them - 1 County record, 1 Club record, 56 Long Course PBs, 29 converted PBs & 41 County QT. We had 10 finalists:-

 

• Bailie Harrison 100m Fly
• Benjamin Beedell 100m Fly 100m Breast & 200m Fly
• Chloe Jones 200m Free
• Isabel Spinley 200m Fly & 100m Fly
• Louis Metselaar 200m IM & 100m Breast
• Katie Rundle 200m Fly

Katie Rundle won her age group in the 400m IM, Chloe Jones came third in her age group in the 400m Free.

Other highlights were:
Alex Wray won the open 50m Breaststroke in a time of 30.37. This time ranks him 15th Long course which is a seasons best. Season’s best. He now holds both the boys 17yrs and 18yrs records. Won the heat of the 200m Freestyle but didn’t swim the final.

Isabel Spinley won the heat and the final of the 200m Butterfly. She went on to do the same in the 100m Butterfly! She is now nationally ranked 10th in the 100m Fly and 8th in the 200m Fly. New club record in the 100m Butterfly.
