On the 24th April 6 swimmers from Deepings Masters set off to compete in Grantham’s Short Course Meet.
Competing were Tony BASKEYFIELD, Kirsty SCOTT, Paul SMITH-SHELTON, Gareth ROBERTS, Hannah PILLING and making her masters debut for Deepings was Tonya SMITH. The team rose to the occasion in Grantham and out of 32 swims they brought back 9 Gold, 16 Silvers & 3 Bronze. There were 22 Pbs sets.

Kirsty SCOTT 9 events, winning 2 Gold, 5 Silvers & 2 Bronze
Paul SMITH-SHELTON 4 events, winning 1 Gold & 3 Silvers
Gareth ROBERTS 4 events, winning 4 Silvers
Hannah PILLING 4 events, winning 3 Gold & a Silver
Tonya SMITH 4 events, was just outside the medals by finishing 4th each time, how unlucky is that?
