Deepings Swimming Club is proud to have been designated the Disability Hub Club for Lincolnshire and look forward to welcoming and developing many more disability swimmers. Our head coach, Lynn Chapman, is the Lincolnshire representative for the Disability Hub.

We have had a number of disabled swimmers in the Club during our history, including William Holland-Leavens and Jordan Clark. Will competed successfully at National level for many years, including British Championships where he was swimming in finals against many of our Paralympic swimmers. JC, who came late to swimming, competed and won medals at regional level.

Paralympic swimmer Rob Welbourn, who began his swimming career with Deeping Swimming Club, competed at both the 2004 and 2008 Paralympics, where he won gold medals in the 4x100 metre freestyle relay and silver medals in the 400 metre freestyle (S10) events. At London 2012 he won bronze in the 400m freestyle.

11 year old Miki Lin-Gao represented Deepings club swimmers at the East Midland Disability Meet 2016. While at the club, she is was ranked 2nd on the British Junior Age Group Rankings for category S8 and was on the British Para Swimming Spotlight programme for future Paralympians.
