Grantham Swim Club is proud to host the Long Distance Time Trial 2025 at the excellent Grantham Meres Leisure Centre on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th November 2025. Licensed at Level 3 under Swim England regulations (Licence No. 3EM251942), this event provides swimmers with the opportunity to test themselves over the most demanding endurance races, with all results eligible for entry into the Lincolnshire County Championships 2026. The programme features a focused schedule of long-distance events, including the 1500m Freestyle (10 & over), the 800m Freestyle (10 & over), and the challenging 400m Freestyle and 400m Individual Medley (9 & over). All races will be run as Heat Declared Winners, with medals awarded to the top three swimmers in each age group and gender category, from 9 years through to 16 & over. With an 8-lane, 25m pool, full electronic timing, and spearheaded heats, the meet promises a professional and competitive racing environment. Warm-ups are scheduled across three sessions, beginning on Saturday afternoon and continuing through Sunday, ensuring swimmers are fully prepared for their events. Spectators are warmly welcomed, with affordable passes available for individual sessions or the full weekend. Coaches and team managers will have access to poolside passes, including heat sheets, results, and refreshments, ensuring smooth support for their athletes. Grantham Swim Club looks forward to welcoming swimmers, coaches, and supporters from across the region to what promises to be an exciting and rewarding weekend of long-distance racing, celebrating endurance, determination, and the spirit of competitive swimming.
