Performance Squad Level 4

This squad has been set up to allow those swimmers who wish to train specifically for Midland and National competition. This squad is open to anyone who can achieve the set criteria and with the agreement of the Club Coach.

Any swimmer who is invited to join this squad must show that they can reach the required standard and maintain it.
Swimmers who join the squad and then do not maintain the requirements will be moved back down to their previous squad

Performance Squad Criteria – Level 4

• 85% attendance at available training sessions
• Must have attained County Times and working towards Midlands.
• Maintain a Swimmer Log Book
• Set goals and agree them with Club Coach
• Attend selected Open/Licenced Meets as agreed with Club Coach
• Attend 2 land training sessions per week

Monday 1800-2000
Tuesday 0630-0800
Wednesday 0630-0800 / 2000-2130
Thursday 1830-2030
Friday 0630-0800 / 1700-1930
Sunday 0900-1100 / 1900-2130
 

9 sessions 17 hours per week

Land Training Times for Level 4 Squad

Tuesday evening at Arthur Mellows Village College Gym
Sunday 15.30 – 17.00 Circuit Training at DLC

If you wish to be in this squad then you need to meet with Lynn to set you personal goals. If you are able to meet all the squad requirements you will be invited to join the Performance Squad if you do not meet the criteria you will agree an action plan with the coach to help you reach the required standard
